In winter we are forced to stay in the warmth of our homes and occasionally go outside when the weather invites us. There are those occasions where we are surprised by a two-hour delay or even a cancelled day of school.
Think back to one of those days. What did you do?

What do I do on a 2-hr dealy or NO SCHOOL!!!! Well I go to my friends house and we play any thing and when my mom gets home or my dad I ask if I can stay for a little more and they a little bit.And that is what I do on a 2- hr dealy or NO SCHOOL!!!! On canceled or 2 hour delays I usually sleep in. One morning I got up a little to early.My mom said, "go back to bed." As I groaned," mmmmmmmmm ." This afternoon I decided to go to DQ and at DQ everyone laughed at me!!!Then we went to Walmart and everyone stared at me !!!!When we went home I asked why everyone was staring and laughing at me and she answered, "Brock you are in your pj's!!!!!!!!!"

One time we had a two hour delay.Evrey time we have a two hour deley my sister and I have to go to my grandma`s house becuase my mom has to go to work at 8:00. Then for breakfast I had an egg sandwich.Then we chect the news and WE WHERE CLOSED! iwas so happy.I brout my wii too. I brout 4 of my games they are Disneys Sing It,Super Mario Galecy,The Tale Of Desporux,and Mario And Sonic At The Olympic Games.I playd sing it the most.My sister got on Webkinz most of the time.I got on a little bit.then Emma and Jackson came.Emma is 5 and Jackson is 2.For lunch i had macaroni and cheese so did emma and jackson.Itwas very good.Then we whent sleding.We tied A rope to the four wheeier and tied the other end to the sled and he made hills it was like a roller coster it was so fun! ReplyDeleteOne day on a cancelled day my sister Mindy and I where watching TV.Every time it was on commercial we would grab a ball and start throwing it around.When it came back on who ever had the ball would start the next round.It's like us play dodge ball at school.But theres only two people.We made up our own version of dodge ball,if I cought the ball she would have 1 out.If Mindy cought the ball i would have 1 out,you get right?after that who ever won we would go to 5 and then go to 7 and so on.After that my sister Katie came out and yelled at us.She went back in and Alex came out after shae woke up.She moaned"whats going on?"I said"Me and Mindy are throwing a ball around!!!!"It went on commercial and me and Mindy played again.Alex screamed"STOP!!!"We didn't stop we cept on playing.Alex jumped in front of of us trying to stop us.We started to play monkey in the middle.It came back on and we didn't even notice and we cept on playing.Mindy said"it's back on but we cept playing.Then Katie came out and layed down on the couch,so we had to stop playing.We were watching High School Musical.A couple hors later my mom got up and we all ate our bteakfast.We all were watch ing High School Musical.Then my uncle Brad walked through the door.It was over and we watched it again and Brad watched it to.At the begginingiwent into my room to play my football game.I played all night long.Then i went to bed.

Once I woke up and walked down stairs,turned on the tv,sat down,and looked up. Then these words flashed acros the sreen WAYNE CENTER ELEMENTRY 2 HOUR DELAY.YAHOO!I ran and woke up my brothers.We cheked 30 minets later and it said WAYNE CENTER ELEMTERY CLOSED.YAHOO!We went sledding the rest of the day and drank lots of hot co-coa. ReplyDeleteBack in seconded grade it snowed 8 inches so they had to close school. We went sleading on the hill behind our house. Okay, Okay it was a corn feald but it still made a great sleading hill. Well we started to climb the hill. And it was a LONG climb. when we reached the top we put our sleads down and got on them. Then we made tracks. It was a fast run. After a few times down we started to play MOMMY BOWLING. Heres how to play: you slead down the hill when your mom takes pictures of you at the bottem. Then you try to knock her down. So far we haven't knocked down mommy yet but we have gotten pretty close. We played it until it was time to come in. Then we had hot chooclet and a movie party. I don't remember what the movie was. Yes it was a great day for a nice game of mommy bowling. That day was the best snow day ever. And I know it's evil to not put a happy ending but it looks like I'm out of writing space so I guess this is...

ok i woke up came out of my bedroom . then my brother came down and said closed. then we checked the tv. it said EAST NOBLE COMMUNITY SCHOOLS 2 HOUR DELAY. so i went in my bedroom and on the radio it said we were closed. and i asked my mom what we should believe? she said if the radio said we were closed. then we are closed!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so for the rest of the day we watched tv and then my mom asked us if we wanted to clean. well only me and my sister went to go clean at my dads shop.b&j specialty. the end.

Becouse my dad was having surgery on his back.Then at 6:29 my brother woke up so I took him to my grandma.Wich my grandma was sleeping in my mom and dad`s bed.Then wons my sister got up we went and turned the tv on to check if it was closed or a two hour delay or nothing.Then 30 minets later my grandma and grandpa came in unespected and it was closed.YAHOO!!And do you now why I said yahoo?That was becouse I REALY! told him let's go out side and sled he said okay then we got out and we went to the big hill and we sled and sled and we went back to the house we went and we put our snow pants on the bed and i told my brother do you want to play cars he said okay and we played and played until my mom waked up and she said what are you doing we are playing cars and she said we have two hours daily okay then i want to go to the bathroom and she said one more what get your stuf and put them on the couch when you are done okay one mora what tell your brother that okay one more thing do you want bread yes then i went to the bathroom when i went out from the bathroom i saw my little sister she like to pinch me i said OH NO then i take my stuff to my room and i was ready to go out then i went out then i played until my bus came
I played with my frends. Like Brock and Briyce. We made forts and holes in the snow. We had fun. We had hot coco after. And then they had to go inside. So I asked Nick. He was one of my frends to. ReplyDeleteOne day I woke up, and I watched the tv, and I saw East Noble two hour delay. I played the WII for 30 minutes, then watched the news, and it said East Noble Schools CLOSED! So then, I played with my cousin Haley, and my brother, and my cat snowball. Then it was time for breakfast,(homemade waffles,yum!) Then we went outside to go sledding, down a really steep hill. When we finally decided to go in, after freezing half to death, we got hot cocoa, and watched tv until it was time to go home.

When we had a cancelled school day, my mom, brother, and me went shopping and went over to my moms friend Sarahs house. I played with her kids all day long. She has four daughters and no boys. This is good for me because all of us girls get along. My brother is the only boy that is there when we go. We played on the computer, with our ds', the dog, wii, and went outside in the snow. After we were done playing in the snow, my mom made us come in to eat our food and warm up. As we were eating we all told stories about fun times that we had. I like story time because we talk about everything that we did a long time ago, and about school. It is good family time together.
