The cold weather is finally here. Write about a time in your life when you had fun during the winter season. Remember that writers always use lots of details in their piece.
One time during the winter season I was playing in the snow with my brother and sister. We were throwing snowballs and took took turns burying eachother in the snow. Then, when my mom said "it's time to come inside" we went inside and got a nice warm drink of hot chocolate. The next day we went outside again and I made a snowman with my step brother. It was hard to make the bottom. The middle was okay. After that we went sledding. It was so much fun. I laughed really hard.
I can rember a time in the snow when I was about5,and there was this tree in our yrad. So that year it sowned a lot that,and it snowed abot to the top of the trunk. Then me and my mom scoped a holl in it but not all the way. So when I was outside and I whanted to sit dowen,I would sit in that ensted of the groned.
One winter my dog was chasing me,and then I put her on my sled and slid down a hill in my yard.When we were sliding donw that hill she jumped off and Iwas worried she might have gottenhurt so I jumped off and found out she was fine.
One day a long time ago I went to my neighbors house.Before we went we had to get READY!BUT when we got there...5 min. later WOAHHHHH!I was going 10000000000000 miles an hour than 15 minutes later I finally reached the end and I just kept doing it over and over again. Zane
One winter day.My sister Lydia and I, went outside and it was snowing. We took cups outside and we got lots of snow in our cups and then we went back inside. We each got a coke and then we poured the coke inside our cups and we made coke slushies. The coke slushies smelled like outside on a winter day. It was a very snowy day that day. The tree's didn't have any leaves on their branches that day. I was very cold, and I didn't have any socks or shoes on and not even a coat. My mom told us not to get the yellow snow because we have a dog named Squeak. I hope can do it again this winter. Abby W.
When it was snowing me, my brother, and my neighbor went sleding. One crismiss morning my brother got a new snow bored so we all went sleding. First my brother tried it out. He was prity good but at the end he crashed. Then i tried. I wasint that good. My neighbor tried it out. He made it all the way to the bodom of the hill with out crashing. Then we had hot chocolate.

Last winter, we went to my Aunt's school and played on their ice cold playsets. It was so much fun! Most of their stuff used tires. There was a rope and two tires that were a good distance apart and then you got the rope to one tire and you ran off the tire and jumped and hung onto the rope as tight as you could. Then, you would swing across to the other tire and hope you landed safely. If you didn't, you would probably need to go to the hospital. We went down a big hill on a sled. When we got on the cement part of the parking lot, there were super big bumps. One time the sled fell over on the way down. There were steps along the way to get up to the playground and then you just made one turn to the right and there was a big slide that went all the way down to the parking lot again. I went down and it wasn't as fast as you think it would be. I think my cousins went down on a sled and they went super fast but I was too scared to try. Then, after a long time we left. Zach C.
O my I am so tired but then Ihen I hered something it was laghing I sprang from my bed............................................ AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I chaned my close put on snow pants,coat,mittins,hat and boats.I told my mom that I was going to play outside.I played with my friends then we went inside and drank hot coco. your #1 fan michelle
I remember one time I went sledding at a hill near us. It was really and we had lots and lots of snow. My mom, dad, Nick and me all went. It took forever to get up the hill! My sled was round and green with lots of handles to hold on to.the end Desmond
Last year for my dad's birthday, we went tobogganing, my family and me. We had friends go to. A toboggan is a sled that four people can fit on. We went down the tobogganing run and had so much fun. The track was long and covered in ice, it had a few bumps. We went down it, over and over. Once we fell off the mat and went into the snow. It was at a state park. One time I got to sit in the front, it was sort of scary at first, but I started to like it after a while. Snow was blowing in my face and I had so much fun that day.
After that, we went to my grandma's house and had dinner. We had soup, the soup warmed us up. Later we ate my dad's birthday cake.
My two cousins, aunt Kim, grandma Nancy & I went to the place where my Aunt Kim works. We brought our sleds that our grandpa gave us. We slid down the big hill a lot of times. It was so fun that we did not want to go.
