I just finished reading The Sisters Grimm by Michael Buckley. Many people have told me it is a good book so I decided to make it my first book of summer. In this book there are two girls, Daphne and Sabrina whose parents have left them and they ended up in an orphanage. They have had quite a few bad experiences with people trying to adopt them. One day a lady saying she is their grandmother shows up at the door. From there an adventure begins for the girls. One thing I really liked about the book is the way that fairytale characters show up throughout. There were many surprises for me and boy was I ever surprised by the ending! I think that many of you would enjoy this book too!
I am now on my second book Out of My Mind by Sharon M. Draper. What are you reading?

I loved the Sisters Grimm too. Puck is absolutely my favorite character and each book is as good as the last. In fact we just read the latest one and you won't believe what happens!
ReplyDeleteI am almost done with the first 39 Clues book. So far I really like it. Each chapter seems to end on a cliff hanger so it's hard to put down. I'm just not sure how they keep going for 39 clues since so many of the family members searching for the clues have been "taken out" at least for a little while by other members. I'm interested to see how this goes. But I think I'll read different books in between so I don't lose interest.

I am reading Daisy Dawson and the Mystery Pond. I like this book because there is a mystery. There is a girl named Daisy Dawson who likes to take pictures with her camera. She meets a dog named Bow and he loves bones. Daisy is a friend to animals.
